An apartment building in Watertown on Belmont Street has been sold for $3.2 million.
Oakley Court, a 29-unit building at 550 Belmont Street, has been purchased by Allston-based Hamilton Company.
“This property is uniquely located and boasts generous living space, a parking garage and immediate MBTA access,” said Carl Valeri, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Hamilton Company. “The property’s condition will fit well with our other 180 units we own and manage in Watertown."
Built in 1942 by James H. Carrig, Oakley Court was owned by Carrig's family for 71 years. When the sale is finalized, the property will be renamed Hamilton Court, according to Harold Brown, founder and Chairman of Hamilton Company.
Oakley Court is just the latest acquisition by the Hamilton Company, which also purchased properties in Boston and Andover and is developing a parcel in Waltham on River Street.
The company owns and manages more than 5,200 residential units and nearly two million square feet of commercial property in the Greater Boston area.
